As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, the Coalition for Dismantling Racism will be hosting a Community Conversation in coordination with PBS Wisconsin. We will reflect on Our American Story as we approach this important milestone in our country's history.
The evening gathering will have a few components. First, we will view a 30-minute clip from the Ken Burns documentary, "The American Revolution". Then, we will organize into small groups led by trained facilitators to discuss questions provided by PBS Wisconsin. Lastly, the group will come back together to share key takeaways from each group's discussion.
This event is free to the public and no prior registration is necessary.
Light appetizers, desserts, and beverages will be provided.
