2026 Clyde Museum--America 250 Book Club (in collaboration with the Clyde Public Library)Help us celebrate America 250 by reading across the timeline of our nation’s history, one era at a time. This book club will meet every other month on the third Thursday from 3:00–4:00 PM in the Hurd Room of the Clyde Museum, starting February 19.
Each meeting focuses on a different time period and includes one fiction pick and one non-fiction pick. Read one or both—whatever fits your schedule and reading speed.
We’ll gather at the museum for discussion, where we will talk about the books, explore the historical moment they represent, and learn a bit about Clyde’s history during that same time period. Copies of both titles will be available at the library. There are limited copies available.
Whether you love history or just enjoy a good book, join us as we mark 250 years of America by reading our way through the past.
