Join the City of Brentwood and community partners for a citywide celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
America 250: Agricultural Roots & The American Dream will honor the people, industries, innovations, and ideals that have shaped both our nation and our community. From Brentwood's agricultural heritage to the evolution of transportation, military service, community leadership, and the pursuit of opportunity, this one-of-a-kind celebration will showcase the many stories that make up the American experience.
PARADE
The celebration begins with the America 250 Parade through Downtown Brentwood at 9:30 AM.
We are currently seeking parade participants to help bring this historic celebration to life. Entries are encouraged to reflect the event theme and may highlight American history, local history, agriculture, transportation, innovation, community service, cultural heritage, military service, and visions for the future.
We welcome participation from:
• Marching bands and drumlines
• Dance teams, cheer squads, and performance groups
• Youth organizations, scouts, and school groups
• Community and civic organizations
• Agricultural groups, farmers, ranchers, and 4-H/FFA programs
• Veterans organizations and military support groups
• Cultural and heritage organizations
• Businesses and industry groups
• Classic, antique, and historic vehicles
• Decorated vehicles, tractors, and specialty equipment
• Community floats and themed displays
Whether your organization represents Brentwood's agricultural roots, the evolution of transportation, service to our nation, or the American Dream itself, we invite you to be part of this once-in-a-generation parade.

CITYWIDE CELEBRATION
Following the parade, the celebration continues throughout Brentwood with activities, exhibits, entertainment, and experiences that highlight the people, industries, and ideals that helped shape our community and our nation.
OPENING CEREMONY
Join us at City Park for the official Opening Ceremony beginning at 11:30 AM as we kick off an afternoon of celebration, reflection, and community pride.
CITY PARK ACTIVITIES
Guests can enjoy:
• Agricultural exhibits and demonstrations celebrating Brentwood's farming heritage
• Transportation-themed displays showcasing the movement of people, goods, and ideas throughout American history
• A Salute to Service honoring veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders, and community leaders
• Community organizations and educational booths
• Historical and cultural exhibits
• Train rides
• Petting zoo
• Face painting
• Family activities and games
• Food trucks provided by The Foodie Crew
• And much more
CONCERT IN THE PARK
At 12:00 PM, The Ragdolls take the stage for a free Concert in the Park, bringing an afternoon of music and entertainment to City Park.
VETERANS MEMORIAL HALL CAR SHOW
Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the Veterans Memorial Hall Car Show, featuring classic cars, antique vehicles, specialty vehicles, and automotive history on display as part of the community-wide celebration.
DOWNTOWN DECORATING CONTEST
Presented by the Downtown Brentwood Coalition, local businesses will participate in a patriotic decorating contest, transforming downtown storefronts into a community-wide tribute to America's 250th anniversary.
CALLING ALL COMMUNITY PARTNERS
We're looking for a few additional organizations, businesses, and exhibitors to help round out the celebration.
