Ambitious Women in Essex - Uttlesford Meet Up - 23 January 2025

Ambitious Women in Essex returns to Uttlesford for our first meet up of 2025, as well continue our quaterly collaboration with Uttlesford District Council.

As well as the usual opportunity to connect and network with a vibrant community of like-minded women in business, for this sesssion we will be asking you to unleash your inner creativity!

Wellness Techniques: Led by experienced Wellbeing Practitioner Jen Shackleton, participants will engage in ‘Emotional Freedom Technique’ and visualisation exercises to promote relaxation and mental clarity. These techniques will set a nurturing and focused environment that will provide attendees with a practical tool to calm themselves in the moment as they navigate the stresses of running their own businesses.

Vision Board Collaging: Facilitated by local artist Jessica Pearce, attendees will create personalised vision boards. This craft activity will help participants explore and visualise their aspirations and needs, beyond mere productivity. The process of collaging will encourage creativity, provide a space for fun, and serve as a catalyst for bonding among the group.

What can you expect to get out of this session?

1. Empowerment Through Creativity: Art activities help participants break away from daily stressors and activate joy and inspiration.

2. Wellness Integration: The inclusion of wellness practices promotes sustained mental health benefits, enabling women to manage stress and build resilience.

4. Holistic Development: By combining psychosensory techniques with creative activities, attendees develop skills that enhance both personal and professional growth.
