Bring a real business challenge to motivated young talent. A new route to recruitment that traditional hiring misses.
About this Event

Traditional recruitment is missing some of Liverpool's most motivated young people, not because they lack capability, but because the system keeps rejecting them before they get a real chance to show it.

Ambition In Action is a different way in. You bring a real challenge that your business is facing. A team of young people aged 18–24 works on it for two hours and pitches you their solution. You leave with fresh thinking on your problem, and a direct look at genuine talent, and no CV screening is required.

Proof it works: Spark Youth ran six bespoke sessions with Direct Line Motability. Of 39 interviews, 25 young people were offered jobs - a 64% conversion rate with 90% retention.

What we ask of you:

• Bring a real business challenge your team can work on
• Attend the full event, 12 pm–4 pm
• Come open to what might emerge — hiring, mentoring, work experience, or simply a fresh perspective

• Eligibility for a Wirral Council grant of up to £4,000–£6,000 if you hire a Wirral resident aged 18–25
