Amazon Week 2026: Opening Ceremony & Bioeconomy Panel Discussion

Amazon Week 2026 is the fourth edition of an initiative that positions the Amazon as a hub for innovation and market-driven sustainable development. Building on COP30 in Belém and its shift toward implementation, the program offers opportunities for European private-sector partners to engage in commercially viable activities aligned with climate protection, biodiversity conservation and sustainable use, and inclusive growth.

A central pillar of the program is the Amazonian bioeconomy. As the opening event of Amazon Week in Berlin, the bioeconomy event will showcase market-ready solutions grounded in biodiversity, innovation, and traceability, while advancing deforestation-free supply chains, ESG compliance, and risk mitigation. Tailored to private-sector and trade partners, the event will also present concrete business models, partnerships, and financing mechanisms, serving as a space for networking and deal-making.
