Amazon Facility Tour (Round 2) with the Colorado Lean Network
About this Event
An event so nice we decided to run it twice! Our first round sold out and had great feedback so we are offering a second tour!
Join the Colorado Lean Network for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of an Amazon Fulfillment Center. The tour will begin at 1:00 pm and run through 2:30 pm, offering a firsthand look at operational processes and lean principles in action.
Following the tour, we will gather at a nearby restaurant for appetizers and to discuss what we saw. This is a great opportunity to reflect on key takeaways, share insights, and connect with fellow attendees in a relaxed setting. Attendance at the post tour gathering is completely optional, so feel free to join for as much or as little as fits your schedule.
This event will be capped at 25 people and registration will close 7/10. Our first tour sold out so don't wait!
The Fulfillment Center
The Fulfillment Center in Thornton, CO is a robotics sortable facility. In these centers, associates ship items smaller than a conventional microwave alongside robots.
Arrival
Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow extra time for finding parking. You may enter the parking lot off of Grant Street or E 144th Avenue. There are no dedicated tour parking spaces, you may park in any available space. Guests should enter the building through the Main Entrance and wait in the lobby until the Tour Guide arrives to greet and check you in.
Attire
To ensure the safety, comfort, and security of all guests, they require visitors to follow their dress code while participating in warehouse tours. Guests must wear flat, closed-toed, and closed-heeled shoes. We recommend comfortable shoes or sneakers.
Not Permitted: Sandals, clogs, Crocs, high heels, or other unstable footwear.
