Amazing Youth Worker Race 2026

About the Event

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Amazing Youth Worker Race on Thursday, October 8, 2026! This exciting event brings together over 100 youth workers for a full day of connection, learning, and fun.

The Amazing Youth Worker Race offers participants the opportunity to explore youth-serving organizations across the city, using public transit to navigate their way. The event is designed to strengthen knowledge of local programs and services, while also fostering collaboration and community among youth workers.

Teams of FOUR (maximum) will race across the city, tackling challenges and learning about services along the way. Prizes will be awarded for both individual and team achievements, with bonus prizes for team spirit and participation.

The day begins with an Agency Fair at the starting point—an excellent chance to connect with even more community resources.

We encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food donation in support of the local food bank.

Do you have someone from your organization who’d like to be part of the Agency Fair at the start of the event? Ideally, this person is not participating in the race—but if that’s not possible, that’s okay!

Nous sommes ravis d'annoncer le retour de la Amazing Youth Worker Race qui aura lieu le jeudi 8 octobre 2026! Cet événement rassemble plus de 100 intervenants jeunesse pour une journée remplie d'échanges, d'apprentissage et de plaisir.

La Amazing Youth Worker Race offre aux participants l’occasion de découvrir les organisations au service des jeunes partout dans la ville, en utilisant les transports en commun pour se déplacer. Cet événement est conçu pour approfondir les connaissances des participants sur les programmes et services offerts dans la communauté, tout en favorisant la collaboration et l’esprit entre les intervenants jeunesse.

Les équipes de QUATRE personnes (maximum) parcourront la ville en relevant différents défis et en découvrant  les services proposés tout au long du parcours. Des prix seront remis pour les performances individuelles et d'équipe, ainsi que des prix bonus soulignant l'esprit d'équipe et la participation.

La journée débutera par un Salon des organismes, au point de départ de la course, offrant une excellente occasion de découvrir encore plus de ressources communautaires.

Nous encourageons chacun à apporter un don alimentaire non périssable afin de soutenir la banque alimentaire locale.

Y a-t-il quelqu'un de votre organisation qui aimerait participer au Salon des organismes au début de l'événement? Idéalement, cette personne ne participe pas à la course, mais si ce n'est pas possible, ce n'est pas un problème!
