Amazing Scavenger Hunt! - Ye Olde Pub Crawl through Old Town

In 1785 the first tavern was opened on North Royal St. in Old Town Alexandria and it was this historic year that the first Alexandria Bar Crawl could have been taken. The pub went on to help shape the social, economic, and political life of the city and established the influence that the pubs and taverns would have on the city as a whole. Today we invite you to step back in time as we pub crawl through Old Town's burgeoning bar scene, stopping by the local druggist, checking in on the Irish at Murphy's, and ending with a view of the Potomac. Grab your friends and get ready to grab a few pints as we take Old Town by storm on the Ye Olde Pub Crawl through one of America's oldest drinking neighborhoods.
