Urban Adventure Quest has created an interactive scavenger hunt that combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a two and a half-hour sightseeing tour of Huntington Beach, California. Guided from any smartphone, groups make their way among well-known and overlooked sites of this Beach town, solving clues and completing challenges while learning local history. Your Huntington Beach Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure will start at the Surfers’ Hall of fame at 101 Main Street and take on a “tubular” adventure as you explore the historic sites, surfer hangouts and local art in downtown Huntington Beach. Your scavenger hunt route will show you hidden gems of the city including an International Surfing Museum, a famous pier and historic buildings hidden in plain sight. The tour requires just a little over 1 mile of walking. Using a smartphone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play.
