Ever wonder why bear had a short tail or why deer have antlers? Since the beginning of time, people have told stories to explain our world. Hear stories about Minnesota’s Amazing Animals (wolves, bears, foxes, mice, frogs, and other creatures). Between the stories you’ll also hear what science tells us about these incredible creatures and their amazing powers.
This program is free and open to the public and geared toward preschool and elementary aged youth and their families. This event takes the place of our regularly scheduled Storytime.
Kevin Strauss is a fiscal year 2025 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature; and by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
