The Malta Amateur Radio League will be holding an Amateur Radio Licence Course at its premises in Mdina Road, Attard.An introductory session will be held on Thursday 5th March 2026

Applications must be sent via email to [email protected] or via post to Malta Amateur Radio League (M A R L), Triq l-Imdina, Attard, Malta ATD 9036. Applications closing date 3rd March 2026. Applications after this date and/or unpaid applications are deemed null.

The course will run from March to December every Thursday 18:00 - 20:00.
At the end of the course you may apply for the examination which will consist of 2 papers where a minimum of 60% from both papers is required to pass and qualify for a HAREC certificate. With the HAREC certificate, you will be able to apply with Malta Communications Authority for a Radio Amateur Licence.
