On 17 July 2026, Amanene The Gents take the stage at the East London Guild Theatre
for their long-awaited debut and we’re doing it big.
ISIQALO: THE BEGINNING is a multidisciplinary music-theatre concert celebrating 5 years of brotherhood, music, and artistry as Amanene The Gents. It’s where afro-soul
meets African Folk Music sound, where acappella harmonies collide with physical theatre and dance, and where every note and lyrics tell a story you feel in your soul.
The show follows four souls pulled together by a spiritual calling through creation,
struggle, healing, and transformation. Rooted in African storytelling, we move between the spiritual and physical worlds to ask: what does it mean to answer a calling while
carrying the weight of heritage, brotherhood, and hope?
Expect ritual, rhythm, live vocals, and the theatrics that have become our signature. This isn’t just a concert. It’s an immersive experience — part ceremony, part celebration, part homecoming.
And because it falls on the eve of Mandela Day, 18 July, this is how we choose to honour Madiba: by celebrating unity, service, and the power of collective becoming
through art.
5 years in the making. 1 night only. Your invitation to witness the beginning. Follow us on our socials, Tik Tok, Instagram & Facebook for more information.
Tickets are available from Webtickets and Pick n Pay
