November 16th 2024 Amanda Hislop will give us a talk entitled - Of Land, Sea, Sky and Trees - stitch, painting and mixed media
Amanda has had published a number of books including “Stitched Textiles :Seascapes”
My talk 'Of land sea sky and trees' details my working practice illustrated with a powerpoint presentation, sketchbooks, and pieces of work. Sketchbooks are the key to the development of my work a place I can be free and explore. From these pages my work evolves exploring paper, paint cloth and stitch.
