Meet the Speakers

Evelyn Vega is co-founder and managing partner of Staffing Strong, a national recruitment firm specializing in marketing, creative, and digital talent. With more than 20 years of experience in recruiting, advertising, and human resources, she brings a distinctive understanding of both the talent organizations need and the environments in which creative and marketing professionals thrive.

Before launching Staffing Strong, Evelyn held leadership roles with several national recruitment firms, directing sales, recruiting, and account management teams. Her earlier advertising agency career included work with prominent brands such as Mastercard, KPMG, McDonald’s, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

A longtime advocate for Arizona’s marketing and creative community, Evelyn is a past president of the American Marketing Association’s Phoenix Chapter and has served in leadership roles with AIGA, AAF, and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. She currently serves on the advisory council for Arizona State University’s Design and Graphic Information Technology programs, helping strengthen the connection between education, industry, and the future workforce.

Known for her deep industry relationships and people-first approach, Evelyn is passionate about connecting exceptional professionals with organizations where they can make a meaningful impact.

Amanda Miller is a career strategist, resume writer and job-search coach with three decades of experience helping professionals navigate career transitions and position themselves for their next opportunity. As the founder of Your Career Advocate, she provides practical guidance on everything from resume development and LinkedIn optimization to job-search strategy, interviewing and salary negotiation.

Since beginning her career as a resume writer in 1996, Amanda has helped thousands of job seekers tell their stories, highlight their accomplishments and stand out in an increasingly competitive job market. Her approach goes beyond simply applying for jobs, focusing instead on creating a targeted career strategy that connects a candidate’s experience, goals and value to the right opportunities.

Amanda is also president of the Resume Writers and Coaches Association, where she is part of a professional community dedicated to career development and job-search best practices. She specializes in working with professionals in sales, marketing and executive roles, as well as individuals navigating career transitions.

Known for her practical, candid approach, Amanda is passionate about empowering job seekers with the tools and strategies they need to take control of their careers and move forward with confidence.
