Many Christians live between two dangerous extremes. Some constantly fear that because of their sins they have lost salvation and are no longer accepted by God. Others, confident in God’s love and Christ’s sacrifice, begin to treat sin, obedience, and spiritual struggle lightly.
We invite you to a four-evening lecture series, “Am I Really Saved? What the Bible Teaches About Assurance, Grace, and Obedience,” taking place
📅 Dates: July 1–4, 2026
🕕 Time: Every evening at 6:00 PM
📍 Location: 4660 Headquarters Rd, Courtenay, BC V9N 9H3, Canada
🎟️ Admission is free.
This series addresses one of the most important questions of the Christian life: How does God save us, and how can a person have genuine assurance in Christ without falling into either fear or presumption?
Together we will explore what salvation means from a biblical perspective, how God’s grace works, what role faith plays, and why obedience is not a way to purchase salvation but the fruit of a living relationship with God. Special attention will be given to the question of assurance: Can we be confident of God’s acceptance? What should we do with guilt? How should we understand repeated failures? And where is the line between the weakness of a believer and a deliberate life of sin?
This series is presented by Alexander Bolotnikov — pastor, theologian, historian, biblical scholar, specialist in Judaism and Christianity, Doctor of Judaica, documentary author, and director of Shalom Media. In his lectures, Dr. Bolotnikov combines careful biblical analysis, historical context, and practical pastoral application, helping listeners see that salvation is not an abstract doctrine but the very center of Christian life and a person’s relationship with God.
This series is designed for those who are tired of living in spiritual fear but do not want to deceive themselves with cheap assurance. We will seek not human slogans, but the biblical balance between grace, faith, repentance, obedience, and hope in Christ.
Admission is free. Everyone who wants to better understand the biblical teaching on salvation and find assurance in God’s grace is warmly invited.
