About this Event

Anna Macrae and Flora Ramirez-Bustamante met at Kirkland Arts Center some 20 years ago, and have continued in friendship and artmaking ever since. Their work plays with ambiguities that reference interiority, accumulation, history, humor, and the unexpected. Both artists’ work is extremely cerebral–Anna’s use of found and repurposed items gives them new life and context, while Flora draws on her vast repository of art history and genre knowledge to present lyrical compositions not bound to reality. Join them as they bring their friendship full circle by returning to the Gallery @ KAC!
