after everything we have shared so far, we’re reminded how much this community needs better dance floors to survive.
with every gathering, we’re trying to create a better experience. so this time, we’re stepping into a darker, more intimate space, with later hours and the chance to let the night unfold until 4am for the first time.
together with our friend from @___tribu.nz [http://tribu.nz] , we’re bringing two gatherings to k road, just a short walk apart. start the evening at their intimate 30-person pre-party behind benny’s, then make the short walk to whammy to carry through till late.
the night opens with one of our residents and founders fernando alongside sire, a close friend of alto y claro and a seasoned selector joining us from spain for a three-hour b2b.
following the b2b, we have a special guest, ranita, originally from uruguay and now based in australia, joining us for a three-hour closing journey. one of the creators and promoters of the powerful @analog.future_ , ranita has been collecting vinyl and djing since 2013, bringing years of experience from the uruguayan dance scene with him.
we’re really happy to have both of them with us for this one, two selectors with plenty of time behind the decks, and the first international selectors to join an alto y claro lineup.
