On Saturday, October 11th at noon at Heritage Plaza in downtown Altoona, the Knights of Columbus, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters, and the Holy Spirit Ministry invite all to join in prayer, music, and fellowship as we unite in Mary’s Fatima message of prayer, penance, and conversion. Music will be offered by the Holy Spirit Ministry and a luncheon will be sponsored by Knights of Columbus Chapter #551.
On October 13, 1917, Our Lady performed the great Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, witnessed by 70,000 people and leading many to conversion. To honor this miracle, which occurred around noontime, and to show Our Lady that we hear her request to stop offending God by our sins, we will come together as a community of faith for a public rosary rally. Together we will lift our hearts in prayer, seek the transformation of our community, and honor the miracle that continues to inspire hope more than a century later.
