Join Valentina and Marcelino for a relaxed, thoughtful exploration of Tango Nuevo fundamentals, designed for dancers who already feel at home in the embrace and are ready to expand their movement vocabulary. We’ll focus on the principles behind the style — elasticity, circular movement, and shared axis — to help you find more freedom and subtlety in your dance without losing connection.
We’ll explore key nuevo elements such as volcadas, colgadas, and dynamic sacadas, always grounding them in solid technique and partner communication rather than fixed sequences. Aimed at non-beginners, the class will offer layered material that challenges different levels while giving you practical tools to deepen your improvisation and musical expression.
