Alternative Spring Break Event: 21 Acres - Food Connections Day

Join us at 21 Acres for a work party mulching and path-building at their food forest and learn about food access and connections to our Bothell campus food forest! We'll also explore their campus market and library and get a full sustainable buildings tour of their newly recertified LEED Platinum building!

A complimentary lunch will be provided from 12:00PM - 1:00PM followed by the sustainable buildings tour from 1:00PM - 2:00PM!

Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a different way to spend your spring break! ASB allows students to engage in community service and educational programming. These programs allow students and community members a chance to learn new skills, connect with others, volunteer, and support their local communities.

This happens every year in March, during the UW/Cascadia College spring break.

The CoSEE, Outdoor Wellness, UW Bothell Sustainability, and Cascadia Sustainability partner to host Alternative Spring break for the Bothell campus and surrounding community.
