Join us for an immersive journey into the world of Techno Painting — a unique artistic practice born from the intersection of music, movement, altered states, and visual expression.
The event showcases the work of Berlin-based artist Dina Shneider, creator of the Techno Painting method. Developed over a decade ago following a transformative experience on the dance floor of Berghain, Techno Painting is a groundbreaking painting technique that combines movement, rhythm, intuition, and techno music as creative tools.
Over the past ten years, Dina has performed Techno Painting live in some of Berlin's most iconic venues, including KitKat Club, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke, and numerous galleries, festivals, and cultural spaces. In 2018, she established the Techno Painting Workshop, an acclaimed creative experience that has received more than 470 five-star reviews across multiple booking platforms.
The exhibition presents a collection of Dina's psychedelic and visionary paintings, inspired by profound experiences of music, dance, expanded states of consciousness, and the transformative energy of the dance floor. The works invite viewers into vivid inner landscapes where rhythm becomes color and movement becomes form.
Throughout the event, visitors will experience a live Techno Painting performance, where Dina will demonstrate the original technique in real time, translating sound and movement directly onto canvas.
Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a guided group Techno Painting workshop led by the artist herself. No previous painting experience is required—only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore creativity through movement, music, and intuition.
As the evening unfolds, the exhibition space will gradually transform into a dance floor. A lineup of DJs will guide the atmosphere into deeper territories with hypnotic, psychedelic, and driving techno, creating a vibrant celebration where art, music, and community merge into a shared experience.
