Alt Prom : Masquerade

Did you have a sh*tty prom? Never went? Or just need a reason to dress up and dance? Are ya kinda, "weird" or "different"? ... Alternative? Sick this is the event for you.

ACKC Alt Prom is curated by and for the alternative community in KC. There will be music, food, vibes, a photobooth, caricatures and more !

Folks are encouraged to run for Prom Court, (apply here https://forms.gle/6rfKENXoHaMr7hk68), entries close July 1st). Leading up to the event I wanna see ya’ll posting about prom just like the kids do, because it is a REAL prom! I wanna see, “Come prom shopping with me”, “Make my prom outfit with me”, I wanna see yall asking your partners and friends to prom. Promposals?! Hell yeah! Campaigning for prom court! All that shit! Tag me in everything !

Prom is being held at Inner Space Yoga in the Green Room. You are expected to dance and have fun in this space. The lounge is next door in the Yoga Room. Shoes, food and drink are not permitted in the Yoga Room. The lounge area will have chill jams, photo opportunities and floor seating to rest your feet.

No drugs, alcohol or weapons are permitted in the building.

18+ ID's are required for entry.
