Our route takes us through peaceful woodland paths surrounded by nature before reaching one of the highlights of the region — Alsbacher Schloss.
Perched above the forests and vineyards, this historic medieval castle ruin offers breathtaking panoramic views across the Rhine Valley and surrounding landscapes.
Along the way, we'll enjoy beautiful viewpoints, relaxing forest sections, photography opportunities and plenty of time to soak in the natural beauty of the Odenwald.

Meeting Location and Time:
- Option A - Joining from Frankfurt: Meet in Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof at 9:45 am.
Note: Exact platform to be advised the day before event in the WhatsApp group for this trip. Please advise if you do not have WhatsApp and can make alternate arrangement to keep you in the loop.
- Option B - Joining at Alsbach: Meet outside Alsbach Bahnhof at 10:45 am.
Finishing Location and Time:
- Option A - Finishing in Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof at 7:00 pm.
- Option B - Finishing in Alsbach Bahnhof at 5:45 pm.

- We will travel together using regional trains from Frankfurt.
- A Deutschland Ticket is highly recommended for this trip.

Board regional train towards Alsbach.

Arrive at Alsbach Bahnhof and meet participants joining directly.

Begin our scenic hike through the Odenwald forests.

Reach one of the first panoramic viewpoints and enjoy a short break.

Arrive at Alsbacher Schloss.
Explore the castle ruins, enjoy the views and take photographs.

Lunch break at the castle area and surrounding viewpoints.

Continue hiking through scenic forest trails and rolling hills.

Reach additional viewpoints and enjoy social breaks along the route.

Begin descent back towards Alsbach.

Arrive at Alsbach Bahnhof.
