IMPORTANT: To keep everyone safe, we want it clear that this is for motorcycles, trikes or power bikes - American Legion Riders only. We ask that all cars (or "cages") drive directly to Post 113 for the Celebration of life. This will not be police escorted - and safety is paramount. This is the American Legion Riders' way of honoring Skip and his service.DETAILS: Attention All District 8 Riders Chapters! Please join us for a District 8 Celebration of Life Ride for Skip Felicita on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Please organize your own Chapter rides to American Legion Post 159 in Venice for KSU at 11 a.m. We will ride together to American Legion Post 113 in Rotonda West.
Skip's Celebration of Life is planned for 1 p.m. at Post 113, Rotonda West, on that Saturday. Skip was former Post 254 Commander, former Southwest Area Commander and former District 8 Commander. He was a leader and mentor for many. He is greatly missed.
Please wear white with your vests, as this calls for our formal attire.
Please note that will NOT be a Police Escorted ride. The ride will follow all traffic laws, and we may ask your Road Captains to be “Assistant Road Captains” for your group to ensure we all arrive safely. Let’s show them what we do in District 8. We look forward to seeing you there!
