As always, this is a 'come and go' as you need/want event. This month we'll be giving the annual Alpha-gal, Tick ID & Prevention presentation. The public is invited to join us, so bring a friend. We'll learn more about Alpha-gal Syndrome, the ticks that carry and transmit it, as well as other tick species in Arkansas, the tickborne diseases they can carry and what we can do to prevent future bites.This is a Meet, Greet & Eat event - an Alpha-gal 'safe' potluck. Please feel free to bring a 'safe' snack or something you'd like to share. You don’t have to make it, but that would be fun too! If you feel uncomfortable sharing food, feel free to bring a sack lunch. Alpha-gal reactions are as individual as each of us are. If you bring a snack or make something to share, please be sure to bring the recipe and labels from any ingredients used so people can review them.
