Port's tastiest tradition continues, Alper's Karmacue, benefiting the Community Chest of Port Washington.Karmacue is a cook-off and street fair with 100% Port Washington flavor. BBQ teams made up of your friends and neighbors who love to BBQ, compete in two contests: People's Choice, voted on by you, the attendees, and Karmacue Champion, voted on by our panel of expert judges.
People's Choice is pork ribs only as of publishing of this event. If you make a vegan, non-pork or other gluten free "American BBQ" flavored equivalent, throw your hat into the ring and join the fun! Contact Adam at the store to explore how we can make this work.
People's Choice portions WILL SELL OUT. So come early if you want to try them all.
The final food and entertainment line-up will be announced soon, so check back here for updates.
Along with the great vibes. The entire time, you'll be supporting a great cause, The Community Chest of Port Washington. 100% of cook-off profits going to the Community Chest. Learn more about this great organization at www.portchest.org.

Volunteers are also needed for set-up, break-down and as porters. It's great way to fulfill community service goals locally.
