Aiea, HAWAII (January 27, 2025) – The Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace will celebrate Chinese New Year with a special event for shoppers on Sunday, February 23rd, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Attendees can enjoy traditional performances, games, and giveaways while they shop.Event Details:

Activities: Lion Dance Performance, Spin-the-Wheel Station, Lucky Scavenger Hunt, Fortune Station
Highlights include:
Lion Dance Performance: Kick off the celebration at 9:30 a.m. at the Ho’okipa Hale Entertainment Stage in Section 8B (next to the food trucks) with a high-energy traditional Lion Dance by the Gee Yung Martial Arts Dragon & Lion Dance Sports Association. After the performance, watch as the lions roam through the Marketplace D row, stopping by vendor booths and entertaining shoppers.
Spin-the-Wheel Station: Test your luck and win exciting prizes at our Spin-the-Wheel Station, located in Section 8B next to the food trucks.
Lucky Scavenger Hunt: Participate in our Aloha Stadium lai see (red envelope) scavenger hunt! Collect envelopes from select vendor booths and redeem them for a free limited-edition tote bag (available while supplies last).
Fortune Station: Be among the first 200 shoppers to receive a fortune cookie with a lucky and uplifting message to brighten your day (Section 8B).
