A uniquely talented artist, Allysha Joy’s husky soulful voice, formidable Fender Rhodes prowess and raw poeticism have garnered fans the world over.Allysha Joy is a deeply-expressive singer, songwriter, producer & keys player hailing from Naarm (Melbourne), known for both her solo work and as frontwoman for 30/70. An integral performer in the modern day jazz-soul scene, Allysha counts selectors Gilles Peterson & Jamz Supernova (BBC 6 Music), Jamie Cullum (BBC Radio 2), and China Moses (Jazz FM) among her fans.
Her brilliant last record, 2024's The Making of Silk, released on First Word Records, was entirely self-produced and is about life, love, and the importance of creativity.
Along with global tours and appearances at festivals like Cheltenham Jazz Festival, We Out Here and Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Allysha has performed alongside acts such as Snarky Puppy, PJ Morton, The Teskey Brothers, Kokoroko and Children of Zeus, to name a few.
