This dog first aid course runs for eight (8) hours and is delivered by director Amanda Williams who is a qualified veterinary nurse.
Included is your certificate of attendance which is valid for three (3) years from the date of completion. The course is CPD accredited.
We routinely work with members of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to ensure our skills and course content is kept fully up to date.
Course content includes:
- Role of the First Aider
- Safety
- What is health, what isn't
- Primary Survey
- CPR
- Bleeding
- Drowning
- Heatstroke
- Burns
- Fractures
- Bites
- Vomiting & Diarrhoea
- Traffic accidents
and much more!
Light refreshments will be available. Please bring your own lunch. There will be an opportunity to purchase dog first aid products on the day.
