Elodie Lee

Elodie Lee, one of the most exciting and talented new singers in HK. She is taking the live club scene by storm. Elodie blends jazz and contemporary influences along with a unique repertoire that is mesmerizing the local scene like no others.

Coming from a family of musicians in Taiwan, Mandarin is her first language. Fluent in English, majored in Spanish and French. Elodie’s extensive repertoire includes jazz, folk, pop, bassa nova and classical crossover in different languages.

Performed with numerous musicians in styles of duo, trio to full band at venues such as : Maggie Choo’s, HKGTA Town Club, Lau Bak Livehouse West Kowloon Cultural Centre, Chez Trente, Visage One and various public/private event places (i.e. Ocean Table, Amtarda, Ritz Carlton function event, Hong Kong Jocky Club)

Elodie Lee是香港最激動人心且才華橫溢的新晉歌手之一，踏遍多個現場演奏舞台，融合爵士與當代音樂元素，其獨特的曲目系列極具吸引力。

她出身於台灣的音樂世家，母語為普通話。她精通英語，主修西班牙語和法語。廣泛曲目包括爵士、民謠、流行、巴薩諾瓦以及多語言的古典跨界音樂。

她曾與眾多音樂家合作，演出形式從二重奏、三重奏到完整樂隊，並在以下場所演出：Maggie Choo’s、HKGTA Town Club、劉鳴煒西九文化區流行音樂中心、Chez Trente、Visage One，以及各種公共/私人活動場所（例如：Ocean Table、Amtarda、麗思卡爾頓會議活動、香港賽馬會）。

Dan LaVelle

Dan LaVelle has been playing the guitar since he was 9 and did his first professional gig at age 12.

Cutting his musical teeth on R&B/funk and soul of the 80s & 90s, he also has a strong background in all types of contemporary music styles from Brazilian to jazz. While just out of high school, he played local club dates and toured with many of the top bands in his hometown of Pitsburgh in the US. He was later invited to join the renowned R&B power band Pure Gold who toured across the US with acts like the Manhatan Transfer, Martha Reeves, and many others in the 80s.

Dan later lived in Japan where he did both songwriting and club dates in the Kansai region of the country. By the mid-90s he arrived in Hong Kong as one of the first wave of Western musicians helping to build an internaitonal music scene in the Territory. Since then he has writen songs for scores of top Canto-pop artists including so Wing-hong, Leung Wing-kei Janice Vidal (Wai Lan) well as the platonum-selling Filipino band – Side A.

He teamed up for several years with superb Asian contemporary vocalist Angelita Li in a highly acclaimed touring duo that showcased a strong Brazilian and jazz repertoire. In addition, later on, while writing and arranging music for Disney and Pixar, LaVelle also began playing a number of local dates with top-flight jazz vocalist Jennifer Parlor. This eventually led to their recording of the critically acclaimed CD - Jenerations on Tableau Records in 2009. He has also

done extensive work with top Tokyo-based pianist Yuki Makita. In addition, Dan has performed with Grammy award-winning saxophonist Eric Marienthal.

Currently, Dan also serves as music director for Montreux Jazz Festival award-winning singer Talie Monin, producing her widely acclaimed debut release – 24 Strathay and touring with her.

Dan LaVelle從9歲開始彈吉他，12歲時便開始了他的職業演出生涯。他在80和90年代的R&B/放克與靈魂音樂中磨練技巧，同時也精通各種當代音樂風格，從巴西音樂到爵士。高中畢業後，他在家鄉美國匹茲堡的本地俱樂部演出並與多支頂尖樂隊巡演。後來他加入了著名的R&B樂隊Pure Gold，與Manhatan Transfer、Martha Reeves等知名音樂行為在美國各地巡演。90年代中期，他來到香港，成為第一波參與建設國際音樂場景的西方音樂家之一。此後，他為多位頂尖粵語流行歌手包括蘇永康、梁永奇（Janice Vidal 維蘭）以及白金銷量的菲律賓樂隊Side A創作歌曲。

他曾與傑出的亞洲當代女高音歌手Angelita Li合作多年，組成的巡演二人組展示了豐富的巴西和爵士曲目。此外，拉維爾還為迪士尼和皮克斯撰寫和編曲音樂，並與頂尖爵士歌手Jennifer Parlor合作演出，最終在2009年錄製了廣受好評的CD《Jenerations》。他還與東京頂尖鋼琴家Yuki Makita有廣泛合作。此外，丹還與格萊美獎獲得者、薩克斯風手Eric Marienthal合作演出。目前，丹還擔任蒙特勒爵士音樂節獲獎歌手Talie Monin的音樂總監，製作了她廣受好評的首張專輯《24 Strathay》，並與她一起巡演。

Jimmy Pitman

Jimmy Pitman, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is a bassist and educator currently based in Hong Kong. Since arriving in HK in 2012, he has been gigging consistently on both bass guitar and upright bass. He has gained a reputtion as a first call player for his fluency in numerous styles and tasteful accompaniment.

Jimmy has performed recently at the 2023 Make Music Festival, 2021 Hong Kong West Kowloon Jazz Festival, the 2019 Hangzhou “Jazz On The Lake” International Jazz Festival, the 2019 “Art Of Crati” crati beer festival at the HK Asia Society, and the 2018 HK International Jazz Festival.

原籍美國伊利諾伊州芝加哥的Jimmy Pitman，是一位低音大提琴兼音樂教育家，目前定居於香港。自2012年來到香港以來，他一直積極參與電貝斯和低音大提琴的演出，以其流暢的多種音樂風格和高雅的伴奏技巧而被認為是首屈一指的演奏者。Jimmy近期的演出包括2023年的香港音樂節、2021年香港西九龍爵士音樂節、2019年杭州“湖畔爵士”國際爵士音樂節、2019年香港亞洲社會“藝術與手工啤酒”節，以及2018年香港國際爵士音樂節。

Toshi Horiguchi

A Tokyo native, Toshi's musical journey was ignited during his teenage years when he discovered the enchanting sounds of soul music and jazz, particularly influenced by the captivating styles of Marvin Gaye and Bill Evans.

Based in Hong Kong, Toshi adopts an adventurous approach to his crati, fearlessly delving into a wide range of musical genres that have influenced his artistic sensibilities. Through collaborations with local and international musicians, he blends diverse musical influences, resulting in performances that transcend boundaries and captivate audiences. As he continues to navigate and contribute to the dynamic music scene in Hong Kong, Toshi remains commited to exploring new horizons and establishing himself as a versatile and dynamic force within the everevolving tapestry of the city's musical landscape.

來自東京的Toshi在青少年時期發現了靈魂音樂和爵士的迷人聲音，特別受到Marvin Gaye和Bill Evans的風格影響啟發。目前居住在香港的Toshi採取大膽的音樂探索方式，無畏地深入多種音樂類型，這些都深刻影響了他的藝術感性。通過與本地和國際音樂家的合作，他融合了多元的音樂影響，創造出超越界限並吸引觀眾的表演。隨著他繼續在香港動態的音樂場景中前行和貢獻，Toshi致力於探索新的視野，力求在這個不斷演變的音樂織錦中成為一名多才多藝且充滿活力的重要人物。
