Get ready to shuffle, strategize, and MAHJ at our first Allstonway Mahjong Tournament. Whether you’re coming to compete, have some fun, or show off your best Mahj skills, we can’t wait for an exciting day of tournament play!
IMPORTANT: Registration begins at 11:30am - Gameplay begins promptly at 12:00pm
Please plan to arrive early enough to check in, get settled, and be ready at your table. At 12:00 sharp, the tiles start moving!
Bring your best strategy, your lucky seat, and your competitive spirit!
**Registration is required to participate in the tournament. All registrants will receive Allstonway giveaways and a few lucky winners of each round will win prizes!
About The Mahj Masster
Mahjong Masster Mahjong Classes and Gear in Boston
Danielle Senzer is the founder of Mahj Masster and a passionate mahjong instructor who has taught hundreds of students across Massachusetts. She discovered mahjong during the pandemic and quickly fell in love with the game.
What started as teaching occasionally, quickly grew into a thriving business, with sold-out events, partnerships with local organizations, and a growing community of players. Known for her warm, engaging teaching style, Danielle makes learning mahjong feel accessible, modern, and fun for all ages.
In addition to teaching mahjong, Danielle is a realtor, marathon runner, and mom of two. She loves creating spaces where people can connect, learn something new, and have a great time around the table.
Allstonway is a new, dynamic public space on Western Avenue. Allstonway provides visitors opportunities to connect with welcoming, inclusive and multi-faceted public open spaces, year-round programming and events, and ongoing public art exhibits.
