Allina Cancer Institute Oncology Nursing Certification OCN® Review Course

The Allina Health Cancer Institute Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN®) Review Course is designed to support oncology nurses in their preparation for the Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN®) exam. Taught by April Dumond, MSN, RN, OCN, BMTCN, CRNI, this comprehensive two-day event will cover core topics essential for exam success, including cancer biology, treatment modalities, symptom management, palliative care, psychosocial dimensions, and professional practice.  

Attendees can participate in person at the Mercy Hospital Auditorium or join virtually via Teams. Whether you are seeking certification for the first time or looking to refresh your oncology knowledge, this review course provides valuable insights, up-to-date information, and practical strategies to help you achieve your professional goals. 

A current, active, unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the US, its territories or Canada at the time of application and examination. A minimum of 2,000 hours of adult oncology nursing practice within the four years (48 months) prior to application.
