Join Witchdoctor Utu and explore the different ways to work with alligator magic and alligator spirits, including how to empower their curios for conjure, root work, and witchcraft.
Alligator magic is a potent form of sorcery in North America, with some of the most legendary conjures in the Americas using their magic for everything from protection to fertility, virility, healing, luck, and knowledge of ancient medicine of the swamps.
There will also be an introduction to a very specific alligator spirit with a unique history with roots in France, Cananda and Louisiana, who’s effigy will be donated to the Buckland Museum of Witchcraft by Utu as an artifact with purpose.
Witchdoctor Utu is an award-winning author, a diviner, founder of the Dragon Ritual Drummers and curator of the Niagara Voodoo Shrine.
Utu has been a sought-after presenter and performer in Canada and the United States since 2000. As himself or with the Dragon Ritual Drummers, he has headlined some of North America’s largest top-tier spiritual and mainstream folk festivals.
Utu resides in St. Catharines, Ontario, in the very neighborhood where Harriet Tubman brought her particular track of freedom through the Underground Railroad to its end. He has spent over twenty years immersed within the lore and conjure akin to the freedom seekers and their supporters that was the fraternity of the Underground Railroad. Throughout the year Witchdoctor Utu teaches and shares the conjure, history, and root work of the Underground Railroad in person and on virtual platforms, as well as supporting and teaching in pagan communities and events in both Canda and the United States.
