Grand Horizons is a Tony-nominated play by Bess Wohl. A hilarious commentary on marriage, family, and the wisdom that comes with age (or not).
Fifty years into her marriage to Bill, Nancy wants a divorce. While her husband seems unfazed by the decision, her two adult sons are shaken to the core. As the “kids” descend on the Grand Horizons senior living community to mediate, everything they thought they knew about their parents comes crashing down. The family, turned upside down and grappling with their new reality, finds each must reckon with their own imperfect past in this intimate look at the wild, unpredictable, and enduring nature of love. And that seemingly well-adjusted families can be messy.
