"A genre-blending concert weaving together Arabic classics and global hits, this performance features a rich tapestry of sound shaped by a string quartet, keyboard, bass, percussion, and vocals. From Fairuz’s timeless Sabah w Masa to the haunting beauty of Mad World and Bittersweet Symphony, the program travels across eras and emotions. Instrumental renditions of songs like Viva La Vida, Creep, and Lama Bada Yatathana reimagine familiar melodies with fresh intimacy, inviting listeners into a world where East meets West and nostalgia meets reinvention.
Allegra Quartet - a project born out of a shared love for chamber music, bringing together musicians from different cities, countries, and cultures. Featuring Mora Said and Aly El Bahrawy on violin, David Sedrik on Viola, and Mohamed Abo Ouf on cello, the ensemble brings the spirit of connection and the joy of making music together to the stage in this special performance.
Cherine Abulwafa - singer, songwriter, and pianist blending Arabic and Western influences in emotionally rich performances. With a background in classical music and a love for poetic and artistic storytelling.
Arsan Ezzat - a passionate pianist and arranger whose love for jazz shines through every note he plays. With a unique ability to blend emotion and improvisation, he brings fresh energy to every performance, all while pursuing his studies in medicine.
Maged El-Dafashy - a full-time IT engineer by day and a bassist by night. A dedicated musician with a love for groove and rhythm."
