Allan Turner returns to the stage in his first solo show in Toronto since 2019. The years have not been kind. Allan Turner is Old Man Aikenhead!

In an evening of storytelling and sit down comedy, Old Man “Aesop” Aikenhead mines age-old fables for any glints of wisdom on how to live a moral life in our chaotic modern times.

This is a workshop performance of a new show. Show will run around 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A with Allan on “How to Create Clown.”

ABOUT ALLAN TURNER -

Multi award-winning writer, director, and one of Toronto’s most enduring clowns. Allan has created, produced, and performed in Canada, the US, and Europe in clubs, shows, plays, cabarets, circuses and festivals. He recently wrote and directed his first short film The Witch’s Boy which will debut in festivals worldwide in 2026. Allan voices cartoons and appears regularly in the background on Murdoch Mysteries. Nobody’s clued in but he's trying to solve his own M**der even though Murdoch already solved it in S12.
