About this Event

The Redmond Tech Orchestra invites you to an enchanting evening of orchestral storytelling as we bring Shakespeare’s timeless tales to life through music and live performance. In collaboration with —a collective of tech professionals in the Redmond area passionate about theatre—this unique concert blends symphonic sound with spoken word and staged scenes, creating a fully immersive Shakespearean experience.

From fairy magic and moonlit mischief to star‑crossed romance and royal triumph, this program celebrates love, war, and drama as imagined by some of the great composers of the orchestral repertoire. Watch as beloved characters step off the page and onto the stage, their voices interwoven with sweeping orchestral scores in real time.

What to Expect

Experience Shakespeare like never before as music and theatre converge on stage. Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, and Walton transform iconic plays into vivid musical landscapes, while actors from Technically Thespians bring key scenes and monologues to life in sync with the orchestra.

Encounter playful exchanges from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, stirring speeches from Henry V, and intimate, heartbreaking moments from Romeo and Juliet, all woven seamlessly into the musical program. This collaboration creates a dynamic narrative flow—where shimmering dances, dramatic battles, and soaring love themes are enhanced by live dialogue and character portrayals.
