For months, we've been secretly working on our next major move. With that, let us introduce you to a personal hero of ours, a producer of so many of the best tunes you've heard at ATB, one of the smoothest performers to ever grace our stage - fresh out of Germany and performing for the FIRST TIME EVER in South Africa, meet Senior Citizen!
His funky, bouncy basslines demand movement. His synth-heavy drops come out of nowhere. And, his groovy, uplifting vocals and guitar riffs connect you to something deeper and funkier. Simply put, Senior Citizen is a world-class musician who spreads smiles and bass-faces in equal measure, and we’re proud to introduce him to the community.
To start us on our journey, we welcome another JHB and ATB first, Cape Town’s own, Goldbeat. Goldbeat's unique style and deep connection to global sounds make his sets a carefully curated journey, designed to get any crowd moving. The perfect way to settle into what promises to be a huge day out.
To take us home, another ATB first and a huge milestone for us, we’re overjoyed to be hosting Hippie Mafia. This dynamic duo has been ripping through the music scene of South Africa and abroad for over a decade with their instantly recognisable brand of funky, playful and high-energy original music. OGs, you know what’s about to happen. Dearest newcomers, you are in for the ride of your lives.
Our 3 ATB first-timers will be supported by our esteemed residents and Fun(k) purveyors, Sex on Decks and JuiceBox. These acts have been on a non-stop mission to weaken the knees of JHB’s electronic music scene, consistently delivering stand-out performances and opening eyes and ears to only the freshest and phattest frequencies permeating the air we breathe.
As always, we have draught beers on tap, games, wine & champagne, full restaurant services, a stunning sunset view of the JHB skyline, and one of the most welcoming and funky communities you will ever meet.

ABOUT THE VENUE:
FOOD + DRINKS – A full bar and food menu from The Troyeville will be on offer before and during the show.
PARKING – The Troyeville Hotel maintains security personnel stationed at both its front and back entrances. For your convenience, we recommend parking on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. Front entrance is perfect for Uber / Bolt / taxi drop-offs and pickups.
ROOFTOP ACCESS – We have both stair and elevator access to the rooftop.
ROOFTOP VENUE – While we take pride in offering some of the most stunning Jozi skyline views, please note that our venue is outdoors. As the sun sets and temperatures may drop, we advise you to bring along something warm to ensure your comfort throughout and after the event.
