All That We Carry is a gathering disguised as a group exhibition. It begins with a simple question: What do we carry? Love and grief. Politics and struggle. Memory and joy. This project emerges from the recognition that art is not only what we create but also what we hold — the burdens, the stories, the celebrations that shape our communities.
The exhibition brings together a collective of artists whose practices weave theatre, collage, performance, and ritual. Their works do not sit passively on the wall. Instead, they assemble into an altar, an archive, and an invitation. Collaged images echo the layering of history. Sound installations capture voices and rhythms that refuse to be silenced. Interactive offerings ask visitors to inscribe their own words and gestures into the space.
This is a living archive, growing with each contribution. It honors the traditions, foundations, and gatherings that once filled our neighborhoods, and it confronts the absences left in their wake. It insists that what we carry — our love, our grief, our politics, our imagination — is inseparable from who we are and who we might become.
All That We Carry is both remembrance and blueprint. It looks backward to honor what has been and forward to imagine what could be. Each visitor is part of this circle. Together, we carry the weight and the wonder of community.
