Joaquin Mauro was born and raised in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. His parents are originally from Mexico. The genres that he admires are classic ballads, boleros from Latin America, opera, soul, jazz, funk, blues, and many more. Joaquin Mauro has been featured on a few television programs to include Tengo Talento Mucho Talento, Vaporti on Univision, and La Voz U.S.A. By telemundo. He also has an album called 13 20 The B side that you can listen to on Spotify, iTunes, and YouTube. His goal is to one day win an Academy Award Grammy.
