About this Event

We've been working the last few years with so many great neighbors and managers like you who are improving their neighborhood ponds. It's time (again) to get together to meet each other and talk shop about how to improve our ponds, our neighborhoods, and our environment!

Neighborhood Success Stories

We'll have a mix of speakers, discussion, and activities designed to inspire. It's a chance to learn practical solutions and strategies for healthy neighborhood ponds from neighbors who have succeeded!

Expert Advice

Catch up on the latest techniques and advice (including new topics for returning attendees) and learn from our local experts at Sarasota County, Charlotte County, Suncoast Waterkeeper, UF/IFAS Extension, and the Healthy Ponds Collaborative.

Workshop Activities and Takeaways

Learn about watershed connections and stormwater's impact on the health of our bays
Find out what other HOAs are doing with their Boards and Committees to improve their ponds
Get a round-up of resources available to assist HOAs in improving their stormwater ponds
Go on a walkabout with experts to learn how to assess the health of a stormwater pond and maintenance solutions
Participate in a Q&A Discussion panel featuring homeowners and their success stories
Go deeper with hands-on clinics on CORE topics: managing runoff and nutrient pollution, selecting plants, and finding funding. Plus NEW info on algal blooms, maintenance for flood mitigation, and storm resilient landscapes

Please plan to join us at 8:30 am for coffee and a light breakfast. The workshop brgins at 9 am sharp.
