All Kinds of Everything: Piaras O’Lorcain, The Wran + more

Piaras Ó Lorcáin returns to Derry for All Kinds of Everything this Easter! Hailing from Crossmaglen in County Armagh, sean-nós singer Piaras has been singing pretty much since he could talk and singing competitively from the age of 8.
Combining deep-voiced acapella singing in Gaeilge and Bearla, with guitar and bouzouki playing, he has already performed at the iconic Other Voices festival, performed at the National Concert Hall and played to a sold out audience at Féile Derry 2025.

Emerging from the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford, The Wran are four brothers - Tommy, Danny, Seán and Stephen Dunford - who bring a fresh, fearless sound to Irish music. Combining trad with punk energy and a touch of psychedelia, they create something that feels both timeless and completely new. Inspired by Planxty, The Pogues and Lankum, their sound weaves banjo, harmonium, acoustic guitar, bass VI and drums into a powerful live experience. They keep the Irish language and traditional songs and stories alive in their own energetic way. 2025 marked a breakthrough year, with performances at Glastonbury Festival, All Together Now, Electric Picnic and more.

Seamas Hyland is an accordion player and composer who focuses on both traditional and experimental music. He enjoys exploring the varied sonic worlds of the button accordion and creating tonal landscapes using field recordings of rural and urban environments that he collects. He has collaborated with artists such as Acid Granny, John Francis Flynn, The Mary Wallopers and Lisa O Neill.
He is particularly intrigued by the contrasting nature of traditional and experimental music and how these can be presented together. His debut solo album ‘Maidin Domhnaigh’ was nominated for an RTÉ Folk Award for best emerging artist 2025. He is currently working on releasing his second studio album.

Utilising the pedal harp, voice and electronics, Méabh McKenna's performances have evolved from traversing the eclectic worlds of traditional, classical, and early music, intuitively weaving them with contemporaryand electronic elements. Their music forges soundworlds of mycelial improvisation and memory, connecting the ancient with the futuristic in a resonance that’s entirely their own.
