All Ireland Fishing Predator Open 2026

• Dates: 7th & 8th February 2026
• Times: 08:00 – 17:00 (both days)
• Entry Fee: €30 per angler
• Maximum Anglers: 150
• Fishing Style: Boat or Shore
• Venue: Any location in Ireland (angler’s choice)
• Species Allowed: Pike & Perch only
• Format: Longest fish wins (Pike = 1st & 2nd places; Perch = 1st place)
• Submission Method: All catches submitted through the official Telegram group.

Prizes

Longest Pike - 1200€ + trophy

2nd Longest Pike - 800€ + trophy

Longest Perch - 1000€ + trophy

Official Event Rules

• TimeStamp App Required

All anglers must use the TimeStamp app for every catch.

Each catch photo must show:

Date, Time, GPS location, Fish properly placed on a hard measuring board and the Event Card that will be sent to yourself

No TimeStamp overlay = invalid catch.

•Photo Requirements

Every fish photo must include:

• Fish on a hard measuring board
• Board fully visible with clear scale

•Fish positioned with:

• Mouth closed
• Mouth touching the zero
• Measurement taken to the tip of the tail
• TimeStamp overlay visible
• No hands obstructing the tail or the scale
• Judges may reject unclear or incomplete photos.

•Mandatory Release Video

A release video is required for every catch.

The video must show:

• The fish alive
• The angler releasing it
• The fish swimming away on its own

No release video = catch not counted.

•Submission Method

All catches must be submitted to the official Telegram group.

Each submission must contain:

• Angler name
• Species (Pike or Perch)
• Measured length
• TimeStamp photo
• Release video

Only submissions sent within the Telegram group are valid.

•Measuring Equipment

Only hard measuring boards are permitted.

❌ Not Allowed:

• Soft tapes
• Soft fish mats
• Flexible measuring tools
• Worn, faded, or unreadable boards

If the measurement is unclear → catch invalid.

•Fish Welfare Rules

The following apply to all anglers:

• Any fish showing visible blood → disqualified
• Handle fish with wet hands only
• No gill holding
• Fast measurement and immediate release required
• Mishandling can result in catch rejection

•Judging & Validity

• Judges will review all photos and videos
• Any unclear, suspicious, or low-quality submission may be rejected
• Cheating or falsifying submissions results in automatic event disqualification
• Judges’ decisions are final
