A look at Revolutionary War events that led to the fateful meeting in June 1778 between George Washington's Continental Army and General Sir Henry Clinton's British Army. The clash at the little village of Monmouth Courthouse, just outside of Freehold and Manalapan produced no clear winner, but Washington's ability to stand up to the British changed the outcome of the war and elevated his own status as Commander-in-Chief. Presented by Rick Geffken.
