All Forward CONNECTIONS: Winter Hike. Nature Inspired Upcycling Art

We will be welcomed by Steve Craig*, one of the founders of the Peninsula Art Academy who will share his leadership journey as he took his passion to the the next level. We will then head outside on a walk/hike** in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park with programming focused on building connections and expanding your professional/community/social circles.

Along the way, we will find images in the nature that inspire us in the winter with shape, texture and color. Capturing photos on our iphones, these images will be used to inspire and create a unique collage with upcycled materials guided by local artist Mandy Spisak at the Peninsula Art Academy. Yes, environmentally GREEN art! We will ignite our creativity and each participant will create one collage to take home.

Facilitated by All Forward, Founder, Roseanne Deucher. Minimum age 18. All participants receive a complimentary year member to the the Conservancy for the CVNP ($50 value).

**In addition to being one of the Founders of the Peninsula Art Academy, Steve Craig also founded the Peninsula Historic Trades Academy, serves on the boards of Peninsula Foundation, Manufacturing Works and was past mayor and held many other leadership roles with the Village of Peninsula. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan; MBA, Weatherhead School of Management, CWRU; and held various Sales, Marketing & Executive Management positions with Westinghouse Electric Corp, Controlled Power Corp, UniControl.

**Hike may be modified based on weather conditions and group. Planned for 2.5 miles on towpath.

CANCELATION - This is a rain, snow or shine event. If canceling 30 days or less before the event, there will be no refunds. If we need to cancel due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances as determined by All Forward, we will offer a full refund or apply to future All Forward event.
