THIS SATURDAY 11/22/25:9th annual Shelter supply drive and adoption event!
Where: Quakes Ice Creamery 1922 Bienville blvd/hwy 90
Ocean springs, MS 39564
When: 11 am- 2 pm
Why: we started this event 9 years ago when Sophia Myers was courageously battling the monster disease DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) and when our community continued to ask what we could do to help she would selflessly ask we make donations to the animal shelter and go adopt the shelter pets💗💙🦋 with Angel and Josh Myers permission we have continued Sophia’s wish to fill our truck every year with supplies for the Jackson County Animal Shelter! Thanks to the dedication of Maridee we are able to have an adoption event with gifts for all adoptions made the day of the event❤️🐱🐶🙏 we are so thankful for our communities support every year…now that Josh Myers is no longer here to help us load the truck our school and community volunteers mean more to us physically and emotionally than ever!
