Aligned Sound Bath Practitioner Training - Palm Desert / Spring 2024 Cohort

Our four days together will have many opportunities to learn and practice how to facilitate meditative spaces with sound. The Aligned Sound Bath is focused on creating safe spaces through sound and meditation, allowing your students and clients to align and realign to their being. This is about tuning into the space within using sound as a guide. Sound is a powerful meditation tool for others to cultivate a deep connection to the self.

• Basic music theory - how to use sounds and musicality to ease the body into a meditative state
• Overview of instruments used in sound healing - bowls, gongs, chimes
• How to play quartz crystal singing bowls
• Basic gong playing techniques
• Creating a safe place for exploration within the body
• The arc of a soundbath - bringing participants in and out of the experience
• How to pair bowls together for harmonic, beautiful sound baths - how and where to buy bowls
• How to create a safe space for others to receive sound - private and group settings

• Day 1: 6pm-8pm Opening circle and sound bath experience with Bella
• Day 2: 10am-7pm (one-hour lunch break)
• Day 3: 9am-7pm (one-hour lunch break)
• Day 4: 9am-4pm (one-hour lunch break), 6pm-9pm Graduation Class & Celebration

+9 hours of self-study, pre-work reading, homework, and instrument practice

Trainings are filled with content and opportunities to practice, intentionally capped at 8 participants to allow for experience and practice time. By the end of this training, you will be able to facilitate meditative experiences using sound for yourself and others. Feel confident creating safe, inclusive spaces for others to explore and connect in meditation.

Graduation Class: we'll wrap our training by hosting a celebratory graduation class experience led by the group. You will have an opportunity to play various instruments, inviting friends and family to join, culminating our time together with you receiving your certificate of completion!

Our time together will be spent in the beautiful Soul Dive Yoga studio on El Paseo in the heart of Palm Desert. All trainings are kept intentionally small, with a max of 8 participants for ample time to practice and learn in a small, safe setting.
