ALIEN FUNK ACADEMY is an Athens, GA based power trio specializing in super tight space funk, noisy hard rock, and rave-like electronic mayhem. They released their debut LP “PROFESSORS OF FUNK” in 2023 and are currently recording their follow up. In 2024, the group made a complete transformation into a full-on electronic outfit with guitar, bass, synthesizers, and drum machines. Now back with a drummer, the group combines their funk, hard rock, and digital eras in an exhilarating concoction that is as heavy-hitting as it is danceable. ALIEN FUNK ACADEMY has played the 40 Watt Club, the Georgia Theatre, Aisle 5, Smith’s Olde Bar, and hopes to see you sometime soon on the road!
