ALF presentsMariam Gviniashvili is a composer working at the intersection of electronic music, 3D sound, and multimedia performance. Her work explores the physical and emotional dimensions of sound and space, often integrating visuals and live performance within immersive formats.
Mariam has received commissions from institutions such as INA GRM, the Center for Art and Media | ZKM, and the Hong Kong Visualisation Research Centre.
Her work has been presented at festivals, venues, and radio broadcasts worldwide, including Ars Electronica, EMPAC, the New York Electroacoustic Music Festival, Virginia Tech, BEAST FEaST, Transitions at CCRMA, MA/IN, ICMC, Mixtur Festival, Klingt Gut, Heroines of Sound, Ultima Festival, and BBC Radio.
